Moments that needs to be revived

To my classmates
----------------------
I had been a silent observer of my friend’s deeds during my college days.
I m pretty sure that nobody would forget the picture of mercury UPS….especially Oolanoj…………..

Once upon a time, there were only three computers in MH 2007 batch owned by three - Kadan, Bujith and PULI. These Bourgeoisies(boorshaw in malayalam) hail from the wild forests of Malabar. Seeing them playing games all the time, our Oolanoj decided to buy a new one. Then entered our Thadiyan lecturing his one year experience in a comp.hardware shop. Oolanoj didn’t think second, took him and went to a shop ignoring Indicom-a traditional shop for MHCET.

While buying UPS Oolanoj suggested Powercom which was the brand UPS of MH (a best source of income for Indicom). But couldn’t convince Thadiyan and they came back with Mercury VOLVO.

That evening……

Thadiyan: “Da binoje engane indera nammude puthiya item…..

Oolanoj : hmm. Kollam vicharicha pole alla.

Hearing the positive response Thadiyan started a lecture about How UPS works and at the end of it he said

Thadiyan: “Nee enthoota vichariche…..Mercury ille international branda international brand…..allande ee potta Powercom pole local brandonnum alla…….”

Hearing this Kadan folded his fists, jumped from chair, Bujith straightened his sushumna from chair and push the hair slanded on the forhead to side, PULI as always opened another Yesudas folder and started playing one Raveendran song……

Night 8 PM…all of a sudden there happened a fluctuation in current and voltage stayed low…..

Our international brand started making a peculiar continual beep noise which fell on Thadiyans ear like a spearhead. The Powercom didn’t show any disturbance and worked like a warhorse. The beep sound didn’t stop until the voltage comes.

Thadiyan went near to VOLVO and inspected thoroughly. When he turned back, the rest was a “pedare moment” and Thadiyan couldn’t count the hands fall on his back…..The beep continued for some more days as voltage came down and finally he agreed “mercury volvo” is a Beemapally brand.
